     Fishing areas abound in Weaverville, from the Old Lewiston Pool to the Trinity River, offering exciting Salmon, Trout, and Steelhead opportunities throughout most of the year.

Steelhead: Anglers come from every corner of the U.S. to pit their skills against the hard fighting Steelhead (October thru March).

Salmon: Chinook Salmon enter the Trinity River in late spring, and provide excellent fishing through summer (June thru October).

Trout: Brown Trout provide an exciting alternative to the larger and stronger Steelhead and Salmon (April thru March).
