It is no secret, Trinity County waters support fellow anglers with some of the finest and most diverse year 'round fishing in the lower 48. Many who have dialed in and are lucky enough to consistently experience the quality fishing, even refer to the Trinity's fisheries as a "Poor Man's New Zealand". The flip side of Trinity's high quality waters are that they hide their secrets very very well, often a major stumbling block to many newcomers and even advanced anglers. There is no "text book" approach to a better way for anglers to become tuned in with a particular fishery, than to hire a professional guide. By doing so, anglers will save an immense amount of time, eliminating guesswork, how, when and where, and a lot of trial and error. Success depends greatly on each anglers ability to listen, learn, and perform. In essence, the guide is attempting to fish through each angler based on what was taught and demonstrated. You can rest assured you will be fishing waters that offer strong promise. Ultimately, it will all come together with a well educated angler, tight line success, and most important, a friendship that inspires your to return. Herb Burton |
